A Tennessee native now based in Nashville, Rachel Mays has been immersed in real estate from an early age, thanks to her Contractor father and Realtor mother. This upbringing instilled a deep respect for the industry as both a trade and a profession. Driven by a desire to deepen her understanding of real estate development, Rachel earned a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning in post-Katrina New Orleans, specializing in Housing, Community & Economic Development, and Land Use Planning.

Rachel’s tenure as a City Planner with the New Orleans Planning Commission and Design Advisory Committee solidified her passion for residential and commercial development, particularly in revitalizing communities.
