Forest Hills

Forest Hills is a small residential city south of Green Hills, with larger lots and a mostly single-family character. Like Belle Meade, it has its own municipal government and its own zoning and building rules, separate from Metro Nashville.

Because Forest Hills writes its own rules, I check lot size requirements, building limits and what the city allows for additions or new construction before you buy with plans to change a property. Knowing those limits early protects the price you pay.
