Brentwood

Brentwood is a city in northern Williamson County, just south of the Davidson County line. Many of its neighborhoods are built on larger lots, and buyers often come here for space, Williamson County schools and an easy drive into Nashville.

Brentwood has its own planning, zoning and building rules, separate from Metro Nashville and from Franklin. I review those, along with any HOA covenants, before you plan additions, pools, accessory buildings or rental use. Many Brentwood neighborhoods have HOA covenants, and those can be stricter than the city.
